Fire Truck
Established in 1974, "to protect and enhance the quality of life in Selma through a program of services directed toward public education, prevention, and control in areas of fire, rescue, medical, emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and disasters."

Emergency Response
911
The Randolph Area Metro Emergency Response Team was created in 1998 as a cooperative tactical unit comprised of Alamo Heights, Converse, Kirby, Judson ISD, Selma, and Universal City police officers. These small municipalities train regularly on life-saving techniques and peaceful resolutions to conflict.
